    New wireless charging surfaces are available at our company from October this year, with the DuPont™ Corian® charging unit – individual. The charging unit enables wireless charging of smart devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc. The new technology can be utilized in both home and commercial environments.

    Charging process is simple:

1. Put your device on the charging surface
2. If your devices has a PMA or Qi compatible built-in adapter, charging starts automatically. If not, attach a charging ring (adapter) to your device (red rings below)
3. When your battery is full charging stops immediately

    Charging rings are compatible with more than 95 % of the mobile phones on the market. There are three types of rings:

    - micro USB

    - Apple 30 pin

    - Apple Lighting

    The rate of charging in the case of mobile phones, smaller tablets and others is the same as it is the classical way. One charging unit can charge only one device at a time and the device must be placed exactly on the place where the charging unit is built in the countertop.

    No matter where the charging unit is applied, at homes or in a commercial environment, like bars, hotels or restaurants, it means a great opportunity and of course challange for designers and fabricators and offers a unique service for users.
